Repeat Infringer Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Paraíso Remix maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users and contributors who are repeat infringers of copyright.

What counts as a strike

A strike is recorded when we receive a valid DMCA notice or other verified rights-holder complaint about content uploaded by or attributable to a specific account.

Strike thresholds

  • First strike: warning, content removed, account flagged for review.
  • Second strike: temporary suspension and mandatory rights-review of all prior uploads.
  • Third strike: permanent account termination and removal of all uploaded content.

Appeals

If you believe a strike was issued in error, you may submit a counter-notice or contact us through the partner page. We review appeals in good faith.

Records

We retain strike records as required to enforce this policy and respond to law-enforcement or rights-holder inquiries.
